Preventative Pet Wellness Care

The saying goes "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." The best investment that you can make in your dog or cat's health and well-being is a routine wellness examination. These are important, because they allow us to establish a baseline of their overall health, so that we can quickly see if something goes amiss. We treat every single pet and person who walks through our front doors like family, because we believe you deserve no less.

What your neighbors say…

I can't say enough good things about this place. We've been with them for about 5 years now I think, and it's always been a great experience. Recently our dog needed an emergency procedure, and it was a very difficult time. The whole staff was compassionate, understanding and so helpful. They really care and it shows. I'm happy to report our dog is now healthy again, and it's all thanks to them. They are wonderful.

Being at Oliver Animal Hospital I've seen some of the most compassionate Doctors and staff. It is clear to me that everyone at OAH is there truly there for the love of animals. Everyone has the clients best interest at heart but most of all they try to do what's best for their pets. To them they aren't just pets they are family.

Can't imagine my life without Dr Oliver and EVERYBODY at OAH in it! My pooch has lived a very long life to date and it would not have been possible without all the care and concern given to him at OAH! You are missing out on the best general vet care in Austin if you aren't an Oliver Animal Hospital client.

What To Expect

The first step is to give us a call to schedule your examination!

During your pet's exam, we will take basic measurements – such as their weight, temperature, listen to their heart, etc. We will then conduct a full nose-to-tail examination where we carefully study each of their major bodily systems.

This is also a great opportunity for us to answer any questions you might have about your pet's wellness, and to help you set healthy habits.
